Psalm 71:8

“My mouth is filled
with your praise,
declaring Your splendor
all day long.”

When we praise the Lord, there is something that happens supernaturally in our bodies to align ourselves to the Living God, our Great Creator. He deserves our praise as He so fearfully and wonderfully made us in His image. He is worthy of our praise. Even amidst deep pain and challenges, we must choose to praise Him. It is vital to start our day with praise and to give Him thanks for breathing His breath in our lungs and that it is He that keeps our hearts beating moment by moment each day.

It is my greatest desire and prayer that you will be encouraged as you read these weekly words of encouragement. Encouragement is a beautiful gift that we can share with each other as ladies. It is so important to pass on encouragement to the young girls around us who are growing into godly ladies. Equally important is the encouragement that we give to older women when we bless them with the acknowledgement that their life has impacted our life and so many others.

As you read through each of these devotions, my prayer is that you will take time to ponder and meditate on the powerful truths from the scriptures. After each selection, take time to pray and ask the Father how you can live out these encouraging words, share them with others and beautifully touch the lives of those around you with the encouragement that you receive from the Lord.

In Him,
Paula
